Outstanding location on 30a, but the worst excuse for food I have had in a long time. Not sure how this place survives.

The Destin / Seaside area must be blessed with fantastic restaurants. And as you drive down 98, you'll see Grecian Gardens, there located in a building, that appears to once been a show home or information center. Oddly enough my turn off's about this restaurant are largely due to it's architecture and not the service or chef's skills. The Grecian Gardens Restaurant is a family owned business, and there passion for fantastic greek fare is still there; however, I can only compare the ambiance as eating at your grandmothers house, a library or a mausoleum, you choose. Yeah it's that eeeeeehhhhh, I can see why they have a big take out service, the interior is not that welcoming, sorry owners, your food is spot on, but the only way I'd go back, is for take out! Now since I slammed the ambiance so badly, I advise you go anyway, the service is great, and the food is exceptional, really exceptional. We just did a quick appetizer order of Hummus and Stuffed Grape leaves. WOW, wonderful, flavorful the pita's were even outstanding, I was jonesing to order more, more, more, but duty called and we had to be on our way I know I slammed them pretty hard, but I like places I feel relaxed in, Grecian Gardens just can't pull it off with inside patio furniture. Now the service, excellent, and the dishes made me want more. I think there a solid restaurant, just need a pick up!

I have been going to Grecian Gardens on 30A for a few years now. Not sure why there aren't more reviews for this place and why there seem to be so few people going to that restaurant. The people who own the place are super friendly and the food is really good. Very homey place with food that tastes home cooked too. Totally worth a try.

I stopped by Grecian Gardens yesterday for a late lunch. The food was excellent! I was craving Mediterranean food and wanted something that was quick. This was a great choice. It's a cozy little cafe and there was one person working when I was there (it was mid afternoon and there weren't many people in town so no crowd). She was so nice and seemed to be the owner. I ordered the gyro and Grecian fries. The lady working there said that instead of the Grecian fries, she had some red potatoes that she had sauteed with some lamb earlier. I got that and did not regret it! The potatoes were heavenly and there were bits of lamb that snuck their way into my plate. The gyro was excellent as well, the portion of meat was very generous. Very quick services, I only waited about 10 minutes. Price was reasonable for what I got. I would definitely go back if I were in town longer.

Very good Greek food....surprised it's not more crowded. My husband & I shared the hummus and the fried cheese. We also each got a gyro. All was delicious! The owner was very sweet and talkative....she was waiting tables & cooking.

I was very happy with my lunch! Everything was fresh and tasty. I tried lots of things on menu, all good. It's a mom and pop place, very comfortable. Its light and airy, not like the review saying its like grandmas house. Unless your grandmas house is nice! Lol..the owner very nice, it is like visiting someone's mom. It's on a very beautiful property. Just a good place for a tasty Greek homemade lunch, good prices.
